Directions to Darnley, Prince Edward Island (from New Brunswick)
When you cross the Confederation Bridge stay on route 1 and take the exit to Summerside (route 1A). At Summerside, take the exit to Kensington (route 2). When you get to Kensington you will come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the light which puts you on route 20 towards Malpeque. Stay on route 20 about 12 kilometres until you see a large white Church. Turn right at the Church, still on route 20. About 1.5 kilometres from the Malpeque United Church you will cross over a wooden bridge. Shore Road is about 1 kilometre past the bridge on the left. Near the end of Shore Road is a sign at the entrance to both cottages.

Golf:
Enjoy a round of golf? If you love to golf, Prince Edward Island is the place to be. PEI has some of the most beautiful golf courses anywhere, with green fees that are hard to believe. Darnley Greens, Red Sands, French River, Eagles Glen, Forest Hills, Glasgow Hills, Green Gables, Rustico, Bridgewood Greens and Summerside are all within in 20 minute drive of the cottages.
For the young at heart:
Looking for things to do with the kids! Why not spend the day at Cavendish Beach... there you can visit Avonlea Village, Sandspit Amusement Park, the Wax Museum, Anne of Green Gables or go horseback riding. If you like to shop.....visit the boardwalk and the many gift shops along the way, all within a twenty minute drive from the cottage. Within a ten minute drive......Woodleigh Replicas & Gardens, Confederation Trail, Kensington Water Gardens, L.M. Montgomery Museum, Anne of Green Gables Museum, Deep Sea Fishing, Kayaking Tours and Cabot Beach Provincial Park. If you looking to just sit back and relax, there are several white sand beachs very close to the cottage.
Restaurants:
PEI is famous for it lobster suppers. A wonderful seafood restaurant is only a five minute walk from the cottage. Several other restaurants are located within a twenty minute drive from the cottage. We like to visit Mary's Bakeshop (Kensington) in the morning and wind down our day at Frosty Treats (Kensington) where you will enjoy the best soft ice cream anywhere.
